The MedEngine team is growing once again! Please allow us to introduce Miika Fadjukov, who started as our new Scientific Project Manager this February.
Miika has his background in biotechnology. He is currently finishing his M.Sc. thesis in protein dynamics at the University of Tampere, and has specialized in biological imaging and image analysis. Imaging is close to Miika’s heart also outside the lab: He has been running his own photography and creative media business for almost a decade now.
As a creative person with an endless fascination for science, Miika has been extremely excited to join MedEngine. “At MedEngine, I get to combine my scientific background with my love for creative thinking in projects that can actually improve patients’ quality of life”, he says, “and this is something I find truly rewarding”.
Miika is also inspired by the opportunity to help MedEngine’s customers translate novel medical findings into something useful and valuable for them. “I’ve worked with thousands of clients during my career”, he says and continues with a smile: “but still, nothing makes me happier than making a customer happy.”
